Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-02-02T05:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-02-02T05:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This CME is visible as a far-sided halo directed towards the south/southwest in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2 imagery. The source is likely far-sided, with a fast opening of field lines visible over the southwest limb in SDO AIA 171, 193 and GOES SUVI 284 imagery starting around 2025-02-02T05:38Z. Eruptive material is also visible over/beyond the southwest limb starting around 2025-02-02T06:00Z as seen in SDO AIA 304 and GOES SUVI 304 imagery. It is possible this event is associated with former Active Region 13961, which was located approximately around longitude 170-175 degrees at the time of this event.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
